Experienced Graduates & Architects - Housing and Commercial Projects

This Sydney-based architecture studio known for its client-focused design approach is looking for experienced graduates/architects to join their dynamic team. Working across a diverse range of projects including high-end residential apartments, NDIS housing, remedial works, and commercial fit outs, the practice offers a holistic workflow from brief to completion. This studio values productivity, initiative, and problem-solving. Ideally, you will have strong technical and design skills, knowledge of local codes/standards, and the ability to manage work independently with some supervision. Key Responsibilities • Contribute design skills across the early stages of projects • Prepare and coordinate construction-stage documentation • Apply knowledge of Australian building standards, codes, and industry practices • Demonstrate commercial awareness and support project programming and delivery • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, and team members Skills and Experience • Degree in Architecture (registration not essential) • Portfolio showcasing local experience across housing and commercial projects • Approximately 5–8 years’ professional experience within architectural practice • Proficiency in ArchiCAD • Ability to contribute to early design and concept development • Strong design sensibility with the ability to articulate ideas clearly • Excellent communication, coordination, and presentation skills • Positive, proactive, and collaborative attitude Benefits and Culture • Convenient city location with easy access to public transport • Supportive and friendly team with growth opportunities • Flexible working arrangements possible post probation • Opportunity to work across all project stages and play a key role in design outcomes
