Our client is a building material company specialising in formwork systems is seeking an experienced Architectural Specification Manager to join our team in Brisbane. As Architectural Specification Manager, you will play an important role in engaging with the design and architectural community in Queensland, ensuring our innovative products and warranted systems are increasingly specified. Key Responsibilities • Developing and maintaining comprehensive architectural specifications for the formwork product and its Waterproof System Warranty • Collaborating closely with internal engineering and sales teams to understand product capabilities and applications • Providing guidance and support to architects, designers, and specifiers on the optimal use of our products and warranted systems • Delivering targeted training and education to the design community to promote the benefits of our solutions and to advance industry awareness of the formwork product and its warranted systems • Identifying opportunities to enhance our specification materials and processes • Maintaining detailed records within CRM to support effective project transparency Skills and Experience • 5+ years’ experience in an architectural specification role, within the construction industry • Knowledge of the existing procedures required for DA applications in Queensland • Knowledge of building products, construction methods and the Building Code of Australia, particularly in regard to basement waterproofing and fire compliance • Strong experience in understanding Architectural plans and specifications, and discussing alternate options • Ability to develop and maintain successful relationships with Architects, particularly from the DA stage of projects • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Demonstrated proficiency and willingness to perform presentations both in person and remotely • Results orientated • Prefers to be on the move rather than in the office, visiting architects at their offices • A proven and current network in the design community • Tertiary qualifications in architecture, design, or a related field are highly desirable
