Why this role is interesting

Are you passionate about shaping iconic residential skylines? Join a leading architecture studio renowned for delivering transformative buildings that seamlessly blend innovation with functionality. We’re seeking a highly talented Registered Architect to take ownership of high-profile residential tower projects—one in Sydney and another in Brisbane—offering a rare opportunity to leave your mark on Australia’s urban landscape. Be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team where your expertise will influence both the design process and the real-world impact of these landmark developments. If you’re ready to step into a leadership role on ambitious residential schemes and thrive in a supportive, creatively vibrant environment, this is the career move you’ve been waiting for. Key responsibilities • Lead the technical and design deliverables for large-scale residential tower projects in Sydney and Brisbane, guiding them from concept through to tender. • Act as the primary package lead or 2IC, taking ownership of key project stages and ensuring delivery excellence. • Collaborate closely with senior team members to refine design intent, resolve technical challenges, and uphold project quality standards. • Manage and coordinate interdisciplinary consultants, ensuring codes, regulations, and sustainability targets are met. • Drive innovative design solutions that elevate urban living, balancing client vision with practical execution. • Utilise Revit to produce detailed construction documentation, ensuring a seamless transition from design to construction. • Contribute to a collaborative studio culture by mentoring junior staff and fostering a productive project environment. Skills and experience • Registered Architect (registration ideal but not necessary) with recent project experience delivering high-rise residential towers, particularly in dense urban contexts. • Proven ability to lead technical packages and coordinate complex, multi-stakeholder projects. • Strong proficiency in Revit is essential for delivering detailed, accurate documentation. • Experience managing projects through early design, tender, and construction phases. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead teams and clearly articulate design intent. • A strategic mindset with a passion for sustainable, innovative architecture responsive to urban environments. Benefits and culture • Opportunity to lead and shape premier residential developments in Sydney and Brisbane. • Dynamic, design-led studio culture that fosters professional growth and collaboration. • Clear pathways for career progression within an international, award-winning practice. • Comprehensive health and well-being benefits to support your personal and professional life.
