As Director of Mission Critical / Data Centers, you will play a pivotal role in strategic planning, client development, technical excellence, and team leadership, helping drive innovative, resilient, and sustainable solutions for some of the industry's most demanding environments. Key Responsibilities • Lead the vision, strategy, and growth of the firm's Mission Critical and Data Center practice, establishing standards and best practices across projects. • Provide technical and design leadership through all phases of project delivery, from planning and design through construction administration. • Oversee project budgets, schedules, staffing, and quality assurance processes to ensure exceptional delivery and client satisfaction. • Serve as the primary client-facing leader, developing relationships, pursuing new business opportunities, and expanding the firm's mission critical portfolio. • Mentor and develop multidisciplinary teams while fostering collaboration across architecture, engineering, technology, and construction partners. Skills & Experience • 15+ years of professional experience, including significant experience leading data center or mission critical projects. • Bachelor's degree in Architecture required; Master's degree and architectural licensure preferred. • Proven expertise in the design, delivery, and management of mission critical facilities, including data centers and high-availability environments. • Strong knowledge of resiliency planning, energy strategies, cooling systems, building systems, and data center technologies. • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing teams, complex projects, client relationships, and business development initiatives.
