Design Manager - Age Care/ Seniors Living Projects

A well-established development group is looking for a senior architect ready to transition into a Design Manager position, overseeing aged care developments across Victoria. Collaborating with leading external architectural practices and a highly experienced internal team, this opportunity offers the chance to shape projects from early concept design through to delivery within a collaborative and design-led environment. Key Responsibilities • Manage and coordinate architectural design outcomes across multiple aged care developments • Collaborate with external architects, consultants, and internal stakeholders throughout all project phases • Drive design quality, compliance, and project efficiency from planning through documentation • Facilitate communication between development, interiors, and consultant teams to ensure seamless delivery • Review drawings, design documentation, and consultant outputs to maintain project standards Skills & Experience • Approx. 10+ years’ experience working as a registered or experienced Architect • Exposure to large-scale aged care, healthcare or mixed-use projects highly regarded • Strong stakeholder management and consultant coordination capabilities • Passion for transitioning into or further developing within Design Management • Working knowledge of Revit advantageous, though not essential Benefits & Culture • Join a highly collaborative and supportive in-house design environment • Opportunity to work alongside respected architectural and interiors professionals • Exposure to a substantial pipeline of active and upcoming projects • Stable, long-term career opportunity within a well-established organisation
