They’re looking to add depth of experience to their team through the appointment of a Design Coordinator to enhance their offering and streamline their processes. They work on projects within the education, community, public and cultural sectors and looking for someone who has worked in these sectors. Key Responsibilities • Manage the design process on D&C projects under a DM • Support tender of D&C projects • Assist in design coordination on construction-only projects • Conduct risk review of tender documents • Identify additional design requirements to allow accurate tender pricing • Identify value management opportunities • Engage consultants for D&C tender input • Produce and manage design program and design deliverables • Partake in design meetings and workshops, produce meeting minutes • Review subcontractor design submissions and shop drawings • Identify upcoming tender opportunities Skills and Experience • Degree qualification in Architecture • ARBV Registered (or similar equivalent elsewhere in Australia) • 7+ years of post grad experience • Ability to work on complex projects $6m – 50m in delivery phases • Worked within the education, sport & cultural sectors a must. • Strong BIM skills essential including Revit, Aconex + MC Office • Thorough knowledge of relevant planning and building codes, and Australian standards. • Ability to work across several projects concurrently • Detailed design and construction knowledge • Risk and Value management analysis • Ability to work collaboratively • Effective time-management skills Benefits & Culture • Social office with regular team events • Office space on city fringe conveniently close to parking, public transport links and bike paths • Continuous professional development training • End of Trip Facilities
