Senior Architect / In-House developer role

Innovative property developer based in North-West Sydney is seeking an experienced Senior Architect to join and support its expanding in-house design team. Specialising in housing projects, including student accommodation and mixed-use developments, this emerging team is offering an exciting opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities • Key leadership role on large projects ensuring the efficient management of budget and programme • Lead the delivery of large-scale multi-residential projects • Provide technical input and expertise across various stages of design • Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure project success • Maintain design integrity and intent through all phases of the project lifecycle • Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards • Oversee high-quality design and documentation (Revit) • Participate in BIM collaboration with guidance from senior team members • Support site activities as required • Thrive within a supportive, detail-focused, and collaborative office culture Skills and Experience • Relevant qualifications in Architecture or related discipline • Full Australian working rights (essential) • Experience leading high residential projects through all stages • Experience leading teams and consultants essential • Outstanding organisation and communication skills • Revit and AutoCAD is advantageous • Demonstrated experience in Australian architectural practices, particularly in multi-residential and Class 2 buildings • Interest or experience in modular construction is highly regarded • Ability to work across all stages of a project from concept to completion • Solid technical skills in documentation and project delivery • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, collaborative approach Benefits and Culture • Convenient location with easy access to public transport • Ongoing professional development opportunities incl exposure to Design Management opportunities • Secure pipeline of exciting projects
