Role summary
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Interior Designer to join a globally recognized design practice specializing in hospitality, resort, mixed-use, entertainment, and luxury residential projects. This role offers the opportunity to lead high-profile projects, develop innovative design solutions, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams through all phases of design and delivery. Key Responsibilities • Lead hospitality-focused interior design projects from concept through construction administration. • Develop compelling design narratives and create innovative, functional, and aesthetically driven design solutions. • Direct space planning, design development, material selections, FF&E specifications, and finish palettes. • Prepare and oversee design documentation, including plans, specifications, renderings, and presentation materials. • Communicate design concepts effectively through 2D and 3D visual presentations. • Coordinate with consultants, vendors, fabricators, and project teams to ensure successful project execution. • Support project management efforts, including schedules, budgets, staffing coordination, and deliverable tracking. • Participate in client presentations, stakeholder meetings, and design reviews. • Provide construction phase support, including responses to RFIs, shop drawing reviews, and field coordination. • Mentor and guide junior team members while contributing to a collaborative and supportive studio culture. • Incorporate sustainable design principles and best practices throughout the design process. Skills & Experience • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. • 10+ years of experience in hospitality interior design, with experience managing projects through all phases. • Strong portfolio demonstrating high-end hospitality, resort, entertainment, or luxury residential work. • Proven ability to lead projects and mentor design teams. • Strong client-facing skills with confidence in presentations and relationship management. • Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). • Experience with AutoCAD, Rhino, Grasshopper, 3D Studio Max, or similar design software is highly desirable. • Solid understanding of FF&E, materials, finishes, specifications, and construction documentation. • Strong visualization, graphic communication, and presentation skills. • Understanding of project planning, staffing, scheduling, and budget management. • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership abilities. • Ability to manage multiple complex projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
