An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to join a well-established and highly respected architectural practice. This role offers the chance to work across a diverse portfolio of projects, including housing, education and healthcare, taking a leading role in the technical delivery and coordination of schemes from concept through to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project delivery, leading technical design development, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage the technical delivery of architectural projects across all RIBA stages. • Coordinate project teams and consultants to ensure successful project outcomes. • Produce, review, and oversee the preparation of technical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation. • Ensure compliance with relevant building regulations, legislation, and quality standards. • Manage project programmes, resources, and technical risk throughout the project lifecycle. • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. • Liaise effectively with clients, contractors, consultants, and other key stakeholders. • Support project delivery from planning through to construction and handover. Skills & Experience • Proven experience operating at Senior Architectural Technologist level within an architectural practice. • Strong track record of leading and managing the delivery of projects. • Experience working on residential, commercial office, healthcare, and/or education projects would be highly advantageous. • Excellent technical detailing and construction knowledge. • Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and industry standards. • Proficiency in Revit and BIM workflows is preferred. • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. • Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills. • Relevant architectural technology qualification (CIAT accredited preferred). • MCIAT status or working towards chartership would be beneficial.
