Design Manager / Architect - Aged-Care and Seniors Living Projects

An established development group is seeking an experienced architect ready to step into a design manager role, delivering aged care projects across Victoria. Working closely with respected external architectural partners and an experienced in-house team, this is a rare opportunity to influence projects from concept through delivery within a collaborative, design-focused environment. Key Responsibilities • Manage and coordinate architectural design outcomes across multiple aged care developments • Collaborate with external architects, consultants, and internal stakeholders throughout all project phases • Drive design quality, compliance, and project efficiency from planning through documentation • Facilitate communication between development, interiors, and consultant teams to ensure seamless delivery • Review drawings, design documentation, and consultant outputs to maintain project standards Skills & Experience • Approx. 10+ years’ experience working as a registered or experienced Architect • Exposure to large-scale residential, healthcare, aged care, or mixed-use projects highly regarded • Strong stakeholder management and consultant coordination capabilities • Passion for transitioning into or further developing within Design Management • Working knowledge of Revit advantageous, though not essential Benefits & Culture • Join a highly collaborative and supportive in-house design environment • Opportunity to work alongside respected architectural and interiors professionals • Exposure to a substantial pipeline of active and upcoming projects • Stable, long-term career opportunity within a well-established organisation
