Immediate start contract - Architect for Residential

A well-known city-fringe design-focused studio looking for a well-rounded Architect to start on a contract basis. A great opportunity to join this leading architectural and interior design studio who work on significant projects across a variety of sectors, with a focus on community-centric work. Hit the ground running on DD through to construction admin stages across a diverse mix of projects in Aged-Care, Residential, Community/ Tertiary, and Mixed-Use. Strong Revit skills and experience in construction stages ideal. Key Responsibilities • Contribute to design development, construction detailing, preparation of coordinated project documentation • Work on quality design projects in Aged-Care, Commercial, and Residential • Follow project through all phases, schematic design through to practical completion on site • Involvement in site works coordination, dealing direct with builders/contractors • Collaborate with Principals and other team members • Respond to complex issues with innovative solutions • Manage clients, consultants, technical specialists and team members Skills and experience • Excellent skills in Revit • Previous experience in Construction, BCA and DA • Outstanding documentation and detailing skills • Great attention to detail, strong communication skills and time management abilities • Demonstrated understanding of projects: concept to completion Benefits and culture • Strong pipeline of projects • Collaborative team environment • Support to CPD points and internal design reviews • Convenient inner-city location
