We’re working with a leading Gold Coast-based design studio to find their next Project Lead / Senior Architect. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a diverse portfolio of residential and specialist projects across various stages of design and delivery. This opportunity is suited to an experienced architect who is confident managing multiple projects concurrently, leading teams, coordinating consultants, and translating design intent into practical, buildable outcomes. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage multiple projects concurrently across various stages of design and delivery • Manage and support project teams including architects, graduates, and interior designers • Coordinate consultants, contractors, and key project stakeholders • Resolve design and technical challenges efficiently and logically • Lead projects through documentation and construction phases • Translate design intent into practical, buildable construction outcomes • Maintain a high level of attention to detail while effectively managing competing priorities and deadlines • Mentor, guide, and support junior team members • Proactively follow up on project information, key decisions, and timelines to ensure momentum is maintained • Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and delivery excellence Skills & Experience • Construction documentation and project delivery • Structural coordination and consultant management • Construction methodologies and buildability principles • Precast systems and detailing • Delivery of complex residential projects • Exposure to project costing and development-side considerations • Registered / qualified Architect • Strong local Australian experience, with Queensland experience highly regarded / essential • Proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite • Current White Card Benefits • Relaxed, friendly, and collaborative studio culture • Open-plan office environment with flexible seating and views overlooking Surfers Paradise • Spacious patio and large kitchen / breakout area • Mid-year social events and team activities • Two-week Christmas shutdown period • On-site car parking
